MEMORIES
MEMORY 1
Kiyotaka remembers arriving at a large, fancy school known as Hope's Peak Academy. He's both excited and determined, as if he wants to prove something. He knows that only the best students of their fields can be accepted, making it a very prestigious and difficult school to get into.
MEMORY 2
"When you see someone naked, you can tell at a glance whether they're trustworthy or not."
"Which is why it's necessary for us to bare ourselves to each other!"
"So show me what you've got! Show me everything!"
"Alright! When the body is naked, so is the soul! So get to strippin' down!"
MEMORY 3
Kiyotaka is horrified as he remembers a dead body lying in a pool of her own blood. He remembers that her name was Junko Enoshima and that a creature known as Monokuma killed her.

Togami: What do you mean by 'disrupt the harmony?'
Monokuma: Phuhu, well... if you know. If one person were to murder another.
Naegi: M-murder!?
Monokuma: Stabbing, strangling, bludgeoning, crushing, hacking, drowning, igniting, how you do it doesn't matter. You must kill someone if you want to leave. It's as simple as that.

MEMORY 6 (Free Memory Regain)
Naegi: The... real thing?
MONOKUMA: Are you ready?! Allow me to explain the second part of the rule regarding graduation! Just like I explained before, you must kill someone if you want to leave. However... even if you do that, there's still one more part to the agreement you have to uphold, remember?
Celeste: You are referring to rule number six of the school regulations... if you are the 'blackened' that committed the murder, you can't be found out by the other students. That is what you are talking about, is it not?
Monokuma: Bingo! It's not enough to just kill someone. You have to actually get away with it! Which naturally means you need a system in place to assess whether or not it's been gotten away with! So, a certain amount of time after a murder has taken place, a class trial will begin! Yup! It'll begin a few hours after the murder! Everyone will gather together, including the blackened who committed the murder. And they and the spotless students will all engage in one big debate showdown!
And once everything come to an end, the outcome will be decided by popular vote! If the answer you've arrived at is correct... only the one that disturbed your peace will be punished. The rest may continue their communal life. However... if you choose poorly... then the one who got away with murder will survive, and the rest of you will receive your punishment. Which of course means your school life will come to an end! As far as class trial rules go... that's all there is to it!
Hifumi: So, um... what exactly is this 'punishment' you keep talking about...?
Monokuma: Oh! Well, to put it simply... it's execution!
MEMORY 7
He allowed this murder to occur.
With overwhelming guilt, he votes himself as the one responsible for this murder.
[Reference: Ishimaru feels guilty for not stopping Mondo, who accidentally killed Fujisaki out of a fit of rage. He doesn't remember either of their names at the time of this memory, just guilt for allowing a murder to happen.]

Ishida remembers that this dumbbell was used to kill a student named Fujisaki, but he doesn't remember the name or person responsible for the murder, other than the fact that it was a guy. He also remembers being in huge denial about this and wanted others to stop accusing the person of the crime.

Kiyotaka remembers that each of their rooms had a nameplate with their sprite image on it.

MONOKUMA: So, I've decided to come up with a new way to motivate you!
NAEGI: M-Motivate...!? Is it another set of videos or something...?
NAEGI: Are you gonna show us some demented thing to try and drive us all to murder!?
MONOKUMA: Drive you to murder!? What a mean thing to say! Just awful!
KIYOTAKA: I don't know what you've got planned, but we're not going to kill each other anymore!
KIYOTAKA: No matter what you do, I swear to God we won't!
MONOKUMA: Hmm. That's very big talk. Do your best to back it up, okay? Now then, with your permission, let me begin! So this time it's...
MONOKUMA: ...embarrassing memories and secrets! As long as you're alive, it's a given that there's things you don't want other people to know about you!
MONOKUMA: So I did a little investigating of my own, and I dug up some of your darkest secrets!
MONOKUMA:And those embarrassing memories and secrets are all contained in the envelopes I have right here... I'm going to hand them out now, so take a second to take a peek.
NAEGI: What...!?
ASAHINA: H-How...?
KIYOTAKA: How'd you find out about this!?
Everyone started talking at once.
MONOKUMA: You have 24 hours! If someone doesn't become blackened by then...all your deepest, darkest, most embarrassingest secrets will be exposed to the world! Maybe I'll roll by a crowded intersection in a van strapped with loudspeakers and spill the beans!
MONOKUMA: Kyaaah! Wouldn't that be sooo embarrassing!?
NAEGI: ...So that's what you meant by "motivate"?
MONOKUMA: Yup, you got it! They're all pretty unpleasant, trust me. None of you want me to reveal that stuff, right?
MEMORY 11
FUJISAKI: Oh, I'm just going through a little...self-loathing.
NAEGI: Huh? Self-loathing?
FUJISAKI: Well, after what Byakuya said to me yesterday...I just got so nervous, I locked up. I couldn't say anything. Mondo ended up having to help me out. And even *he* said I was someone who "can't fight back"... I...I hate how weak I am.
ASAHINA: Ahh, I see. So Mondo made you depressed.
MONDO: What!? How's it *my* fault!?
MONDO: I wasn't tryin' to be mean! Besides, girls are just naturally weak anyway right!?
FUJISAKI: ...
FUJISAKI: Gh...
MONDO: A-Are you...crying...?
ASAHINA: It's cuz you were screaming like a lunatic!
FUJISAKI: Nng... *hic*
MONDO: Hey, c'mon, don't cry...I-It's my fault, okay? I won't yell at you anymore...
ASAHINA: Really? Not sure I can believe that...
MONDO: J-Just shut up...
MONDO: ...I got it! I'll make you a promise as a man!
FUJISAKI: Promise...as a man?
MONDO: Maybe I mentioned this before, but... Ever since I was a kid, there was one thing my brother told me over and over again. He said that no matter what, a real man ALWAYS keeps his promises. That's what he left me.
YAMADA: Left you...?
MONDO: Oh, yeah... My brother's dead.
NAEGI: Oh...I see...
MONDO: Anyway, I don't wanna talk about it. Don't wanna make all you guys cry!
MONDO: Anyway, so you can trust me when I make that promise. So you don't gotta cry anymore!
FUJISAKI: O-Okay.
FUJISAKI: Thank you...Mondo.
