[ The rustling drew Kaede outside, and while she was shocked and afraid to see corn surrounding everything, she felt glad that Ishida was with her.

She's still glad, even more so really, as they walk through the maze. They could just go back inside, but it feels like they have no other choice. Besides, at this point, it feels like they have nothing left to lose by looking around.

Kaede can't help but cling onto Ishida's arm, a little worried about what might be waiting for them. ]

I wonder how long this goes on...

[Ishida would be lying if he said he wasn't at all nervous or bothered by the corn maze. But he doesn't want to air out those thoughts right now, especially since Kaede seems to be worried as well. The last thing he wants to do is make things even more stressful by being uncertain.

He keeps close to her, glad that she's with him, because he always feels a bit braver when Kaede is around. Not to mention the fact that he doesn't have to worry about her being alone in this maze.]

Could go on for a while! [And hopefully they aren't going around in a circle.] It's really weird how fast all this corn propped up!

[ She really hopes it doesn't span the whole city, but knowing this place, she wouldn't be too surprised. ]

It is... I wonder why stuff like this keeps happening. You'd think they would have it under control by now.

[ Although she's nervous, she still makes an effort to press forward. Maybe they really can find their way out. ]

As soon as one problem is fixed, another one comes up! It's truly interfering with our studies and volunteer work!

[He has to live his college life to its fullest! How can he do that if he's not using every minute to do something productive?! Although... he wonders if he and Kaede would've gotten this close without all this strange stuff occurring. If that's the case, he's glad...]

I guess not all of it is bad though!
